This option is based on using a semi-submersible offshore platform. The offshore platform is equipped with motor-generators with gearboxes and gears. The equipped offshore platform is installed at the station location (sea depth from 300 meters). Around the offshore platform, gripping mechanism guides and float-ball seabed foundations are submerged to the bottom using a pipe-laying vessel.
