This option is based on using a decommissioned offshore platform. Several motor-generators with gearboxes are installed on the platform. Several gear wheels for chain drive gripping mechanisms are located on the long shaft of each motor-generator. The gripping mechanisms are trolleys with gears for movement along the guide and racks for attaching float-ball cables.
