This option consists of a platform supported by three supports fixed to the seabed (similar to the foundation of offshore wind turbine masts). A vertical motor-generator with a gearbox is installed on the platform, with a large gear (gear wheel) attached to its shaft. Cable winding drums with their own gears are installed at the edges of the platform, onto which cables from the float-balls are wound.
